This is a coming 4 yr old gelding. He appears to be a very pale palomino although there is some freckling under the tail on his skin but not on his face so I don't think he is a champagne. He apparently comes from a place in the interior where they breed his breed that we think he is and they have several dilute and double dilutes there, although this breed is not usually knows for this color. He is 15.2 hh and is carries himself very elevated in his shoulder and neck. Very athletic and smooth to ride....
We know what we think he is but am looking to see what others think...

| He does have the saddlebred look about him especially in the hind end. Definetly not thinkin Quarterhorse, not arab, not morgan not purebreed anyway.

Tail set is too low for a saddlebred I would have to agree with Jazz on the lusitano.

| Looks like he is Canadian or a Canadian Cross - or could be Morgan or Morgan X as Canadians were foundation to Morgan.

| There is a Morgan breeder in the interior, a large ranch, who has leased a double dilute Morgan stallion, cremello I believe. I know the name of the ranch but would have to search my brain files for the name of the stallion.

the shoulder and loin angles are too...different to be morgan, i think.
missouri fox trotter, perhaps? they seem similar to a morgan, but with a rounder hind end and chest, whereas morgans appear flatter across the loin/croup area and more pointed through the chest/shoulder.
he's fairly thick through the cheek/throatlatch area too. hmmm

my first thought when I saw those ears was Morgan, but I'm not particularly good at spotting breed differences.. that body was the second hint for me too. reminded me alot of this guy :)

| hindquarter is far too sloped for most lusitanos, but I wouldn't rule that out. My first guess would be Morgan too

| Now seeing some pictures others have posted of Morgan horses, he kinda does look like one..like the posture and the same sort of colour as the Cremello Morgan stallion picture that was posted

he's a handsome boy
kind of reminds me of our champagne Rocky Mountain horse(also registrable as Kentucky Mountain Horse and Mountain Pleasure horse) yearling at the ranch.
im thinking a gaited breed --- Morgan's are included in that as well
