I'm looking at these pics and thinking, this special mare needs a new halter...not that old thing she came with that's too big on the last hole and a touch small on the next hole.....so....yoohoo....Nicole?!! I'd like you to make Mae a rope halter out of what ever colour you think would suit the princess the best tongue

Wow, what a great job you did!! Mae is incredibly beautiful and I love the sparkle in her eye! The picture of her trotting is stunning! I can't believe she is in her 30ties. Goes to show what a bit of TLC can do!!!

Most people would just put a skinny 30 year old horse down- it's so wonderful that you've given her a second chance.

So, Mae and I had a surprise visitor today....Mae's old owner, well the daughter, came by to see her! I had sent her an email last night with the pics and she was so blown away that she came by to see for herself! She was sooooo happy to see her looking so good wub

Said her mom and dad wouldn't believe it and that she wanted to bring them by for a visit tomorrow. They are very nice people...one thing I forgot to mention is that they had the vet out just over three years ago. This vet had a woman with him, not sure if she was apprenticing or a tech or what. Anyway, she thought that Mae's teeth should be done but the vet felt because she wasn't really being used that they didn't need to be.....yeah, ok

Irregardless of whether there is a bit in the mouth or not, the horse still needs to be able to chew it's food?!!

Anyway, the princess lapped up all the attention for a bit and then went off to flirt with the boys....she's such a tart tongue
