Yup, Lunch was great, the Company was outstanding and I bet we do it again in a couple of weeks..........Although the shopping part was a little expensive........I got some new boots, and Kelly got my saddle all spiffy and clean, so I've no excuse for not getting up on my horse.......it's time.........
It was a most interesting day, although there was a couple of things that I think I'll pass on, for the next time..........
Nice to see the Ol' Mare, FYD and of course always welcoming when you have Kayla along..........We even had one of the young filly's with us, which is always refreshing.....Got caught up with Sterling, it's been awhile to get her off property.........but well worth the effort........and Deb, I promise not to give to to much of a hard time, next outing.........
Thankyou all for a wonderful day.............and so does that cute Rooster we picked up and brought home along the way.................. |

Jac said I am allowed to come with her next time so lets hurry up and make a next time lol.
PS sorry to hear you were in town Brian. next time just show up I didn't know as I wasn't on here much last week. Too much haying going on. It would have been nice to meet up. You would have liked our red neck barbecue, I thought it up so would have liked your opinion. |

Well gotta say I have experienced stress lately lol .Hubby has a broken arm. On my birthday he will be going in for a knee replacement and now a broken arm as we count down the ruddy days. Trying to say go for spinal, be awake for this. lol
Thought this last year I had taken over most things but appears I haven't as him not doing nuthin but going to work has me working to deadlines again lol plus I have to dress him.
He keeps reminding me how I was when I broke my knee. I am thinkin no where near this baby. Why is when the stallys are hurt or sick they think more and more about procreating when they are hurt.
Like really that certainly is not a symptom mares are afflicted with. |

Can't answer that one Deb, but I can conclude they are interesting........All it does it peeeeeeee me off when they get like that, but it's fine for us, to do all the yard work and the inside work and not complain.........
This shift in bull crap must have something to do with the smoke in the air......I worked my a$$ off today, cleaned the house, and mowed the lawns, took a few pain killers and delivered eggs.........I wonder what would have been done if it was left up to the male resident of the household...........
OH, and I picked up my car from the Body Shop, she looks beautiful and we're back on the road again........... Yippeeeeeeeee, I feel a road trip comin' on............ |

Hello Mares:
It sure looks like you have all been having a good time getting together and taking time to smell the roses with a lot of work thrown in there for good measure
MG: Congratulations on the impending grandchild. Your family is certainly getting bigger. So much fun ahead for you and now even nicer that you are no longer working.
Sterling: How is the stress level? Hope you are getting some time for you and the horses. Men, I tell you they sure are helpless when they think they are sick. Hang in there.
Well I have a story to share with you all. It happened yesterday and I don't know what to call it other than a visit from cyber space. Jacque taught me how to play games on Facebook, so now I'm having lots of fun, I've even managed to talk to VIPSUE. Good thing she knows how to navigate around there as she contacted me. We got to chat for a bit and now she has taught me how to talk to her and others. Thanks Susan.
Now you are not going to believe this one. I received an email from a girl that I went to school with back in 1962. I have not seen or talked to her since then. Now this e-mail was sent May 5, 2009. Yes you did read that right. The note said I was invited to a picnic for July 25th! Well of course it has passed and I missed it. I thought I'd take a chance and reply to this e-mail and see what happened. She replied back that the e-mail has been floating out in cyber space all this time. Can you believe it? She had tried to reach me on several occasions but the emails she sent me always came back and she did not know my married name to track me. She knew my brother but she also knew he had died so had no way of finding me. Anyway, they have an annual picnic in Kamloops for all the people that went to school from 1960-1969. This year the picnic is on August 14th and of course I am invited. I am quite excited as I have not seen anyone or talked to anyone since 1963! It's just another reinforcdment that I made the right decision to move here.
Hope all is well with everyone. Next time you get together have one for me. I miss you all.

Hey Spy! I saw your name on Facebook the other day but didn't have the chance to harrass you. Next time! P.S. I miss you too. I wasn't in town to go to the lunch so hopefully I will get to the next one. At least once fishing and camping season is over I will be able to go down during the week.
Jacque, nice chatting with you today. I am hoping to stay home and get to visit our little friend real soon.
Well, have been busy with company all week, lucky me to have Amy and her fiancee visiting. Not too long until we get to welcome a new grandchild. Had fun shopping today, gee the baby stuff is cute.
Have a good rest of your day all, and hello and hugs to all of you. |

Visitors ???? None around here
I been around its far to hot to go anywhere that is for sure, The heat really can get to a gal suddenly LOL sure can wear me down super fast ... thats for sure.
Riding date none yet Jacque, I havent heard a thing from the one that started that rumour LOL This weekend I believe is the fall fair up this way I think , I am pretty sure havent seen anything about it, but I am sure it is, LOL and Rome and I will be there getting into trouble for sure, LOL maybe the following weekend ?? Its far to hot to ride right now anyhow and far to hot to trailer for sure....
Rome popped in this weekend LOL she thinks its fun not to take a bus plane or ferry and just be able to drive home and see her Momma that cheeky brat
Hope all the Mares are doing well in the heat, and that some of you get your canning done... I just buy canned goods at the store, but you have heard of my kitchen adventures, I know I would hurt myself attempting anything that dangerous, Hot stuff, boiling water , glass, and I am sure sharp knives are invovled, yup just an accident waiting to happen, can openers are much safer for me LOL
Have a good one Mares |
