Yeah, he's about 16.1 QH/TB has equine emphezema so he could not do much after we sold him. Im sure he's probably doing well somewhere. he's probably quite old now, in his 20's.

OMG, too weird. I have been in AB for a few years now and am currently on mat leave. Being bored today while baby naps, I came on here because I was reminising about the horsey scene back on the island and low and behold here is this post!

Anyways, H.H. Windwalker a.k.a. Windy was bought for me as an 12th birthday gift by my father (that would be 13 yrs ago)....I believe he was purchased near Kamloops or Barrie? I had Windy for a few years then we sold him. In 2005 he surfaced again when in a big coincidence an old girl friend of mine bought him. In the time since he had been with me apparently he developed into quite the jumper/eventer, at least that's what she told me. I am a bit confused by your mention of equine emphezema though, I don't remember him having any problems like that when I had him or after........When my friend got him I went out to visit and ride him and he was doing great. Because of her circumstances she didn't have him very long and sold him to a trainer in Saanichton.....the name totally escapes me though. I want to say Shelly maybe? but I dunno

Well your post was awhile ago so hopefully you will come back and see this! Here is a picture from the day I got him, and then one from the day I went to see him when my friend bought him. He was just shedding out from winter so looked a little rough. I am sure he is doing well still, he was a great guy! Were you the very original owners of him, because I might still have the letter that was sent with him when he came to me....it was very sweet.

Cheers,
Terra

OMG!! THAT MUST BE HIM!!! OMG!! I must have been the person who bought him after you... we did some jumping with him, My old trainer Kathy Saddler found him for me and we had him in saanich valley for a few years until my mum could no longer afford him and she sold him. He was diagnosed with the emphezema by the vet at the time, the vet said the condition would be chronic, but it was only really bad in the summer...It broke my heart when we had to sell him and I've always wondered what happened to him...if you ever hear that he is for sale again, please let me know...

some pics of us from the old days...

The poster "inalbertanow" mentions him going to a trainer in Saanich by the possible name of Shelly....there is a coach out in Saanich named Shelley Smith. She's on this forum, I believe her username is "Shelley"!! Maybe contact her and if it is the same "Shelly", she may know where he went. She's also listed under EC Level 1 coaches on HCBC.

hey thanks for the info you guys..

I just want to know how he's doing and offer a forever retirement home for him if his owners ever decide to give him up. In this financial climate, anything is possible.

I found shelley and PM'd her
